A cool wind blowing in from the northwest, the midday play of light in the forest and the hypnotic sound of the rushing water: it was easy to spend the greater part of an hour here, all the while on the lookout for an “essence of stream” photograph. This was the one I liked the best, which coincidentally was the view that prompted the stop to begin with.
