The soundtrack for this one was Ry Cooder’s new album Prodigal Son. It’s just a beautiful set of songs, with my favorite on first listen being ‘Jesus and Woody”. He’s one of my longtime musical heroes, for sure.

Taken over a quarter of a century ago, on slide film. Steve (third from left) and Laurie lived in a shack right on that stream in the background, and welcomed many a soul there for some serious R and R.
